About this place

Built in 1637 and rebuilt in 1658 under Grand Master Martin de Redin, the Għajn Tuffieħa tower is among the best-preserved of Malta’s thirteen coastal defences.

The tower is open the first Sunday of every month. Climb to the roof for a panorama that runs from Comino in the north to Anchor Bay in the south.
